Bravo Shawn!

I may personally take some of this for granted considering I've never had a major weight problem. There has been times though that I've thought maybe I needed to "gain" a little weight ;)

When I cut most corn and gluten from my diet, I actually lost some weight that surprised me.

Anyways, there is still something in my diet (what I eat without torturing myself or causing any grief, burden or hidden fear) that is causing my skin to blemish. When I figure that one out, you'll be the first to know.

Hi Sarah,
In my view, losing weight and/or having an ideal body weight is simply a byproduct of making regular healthy choices. The idea behind this writing was that I am not much of a fan of making temporary radical changes that are not part of an overall Wellness Strategy. Kinda like putting a band-aid over a bullet wound... It may help cover up the problem at hand, but it doesn't quite fix it.

If you have a goal to lose excess body fat and/or trim down your overall weight, then there are simple lifestyle adjustments that can be easily implemented that will have you healthier, happier and where you want to be without having to temporarily torture yourself and follow that latest fads.

Rather, simple things like cleansing and detoxing, eating more wholesome, natural foods, getting adequate physical exercise, etc... can get you where you really want to be.

If I don't diet then what is the best way to lose weight? Is there a healthy eating plan that could be recommended to follow that would not be considered a diet?
